Course Outcomes: 

Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of key restoration content

Students will know key people, places, events, contexts, revelations and doctrines as they pertain to the restoration of the gospel.

Students will be able to analyze historical sources

Students will be able to analyze and evaluate the validity and reliability of historical and doctinal source material.

Students will develop greater faith in Jesus Christ and Joseph Smith and prophetic succession

Students will develop greater faith in Jesus Christ, the prophetic calling of Joseph Smith, the restoration of the gospel, and the succession and continuation of prophetic authority.

Students will be able to articulate foundational doctrinal and historical events of the restoration

Students will be able to explain foundational doctinal developments and historical events of the restoration and their relevance in the modern Church.
