Continued development of grammar, cultural understanding, conversation skills, writing, and reading through the study of literature. Students are expected to attain an Intermediate-High proficiency level.

Course Outcomes:
Demonstrate Intermediate-level proficiency in Spanish
Speak, listen, read, and write in Spanish at the Intermediate proficiency level, as defined by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Proficiency Guidelines.
Interpret a selection of literary works
Interpret and analyze a selection of literary works in Spanish within their historical and cultural context.
Improve Spanish grammar and vocabulary
Demonstrate increased accuracy in using basic Spanish grammatical structures and an increased range of vocabulary on topics of general interest.
