Course Outcomes: 

Music Theory 3

Students will be able to part-write and analyze (using means covered in Music Theory 1 and 2) in a full range of chromatic harmony (including Neapolitan and augmented sixth chords, as well as enharmonic and common-tone modulations). Students will also be able to identify and analyze impressionist techniques (including types of planing, tall chords, and alternative scales).
